It wasn’t too long ago that the only alternative to meat was tofu. However, meatless “meat options” are constantly making the news, all over the internet, and starting to show up at restaurants – you can even find “meatless meat” at some of the most popular fast-food chains! But are meatless meats healthy? Are they good alternatives for those trying to eliminate meat from their diet?
If you want to stay away from meat because of religious beliefs, or animal rights beliefs, then, of course, these meat substitutes might be helpful to you. However, are you looking to improve your health? Do you want to eliminate meat because you are on a detox or cleanse, or looking to eliminate inflammation? Then these are NOT for you.
This meat is still processed, not naturally made. Fake meats are not pure.
Fake meat proponents want to make us believe that they are healthy compared to meat. But when someone is having health-related persistent & chronic issues, they must make radical changes for 3 to 6 months to a whole food plant-based diet.
When you are battling sickness, the body has to go through healing processes by detoxing and cleansing. This means you need to provide the body with food that is healing and nutritious while eliminating the foods that are trouble makers. Once a person is healthy, and their chronic health issues are gone or under control, only then they can experiment with these fake meat products versus real meats and see what happens.
Your safest bet to eliminate sickness and suffering is a PLANT-BASED, WHOLE FOODS diet. This includes vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, sprouts, beans, etc.
Do you want to stay healthy? Then eat healthy!
